CROSSMARE at ESIF 2026 – Bucharest, Romania

CROSSMARE participated in the European SOC Innovation Forum (ESIF) 2026, held on 15 September 2026 in Bucharest, Romania. The project was represented by consortium partner Eviden, with Gabriela Adace presenting the CROSSMARE project, its objectives and innovative approach to an audience of security and cybersecurity professionals, researchers, technology providers and other stakeholders from the European security innovation ecosystem.
The participation provided an opportunity to present CROSSMARE and raise awareness of its objectives and activities within a specialised European forum. It also facilitated knowledge exchange, networking and engagement with stakeholders working across complementary security and cybersecurity domains.
The presentation generated significant interest among participants, leading to several follow-up discussions. Among these exchanges was a discussion on the project’s Tabletop Exercise (TTX) activities with the Executive Director of the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate. Following this exchange, a connection was established with the Romanian Coast Guard to further explore this area of mutual interest.
The discussions also created opportunities to explore future collaboration, stakeholder engagement and the potential use of CROSSMARE’s project outcomes beyond the project’s implementation period. These interactions contributed to strengthening the project’s stakeholder network and supporting its dissemination and impact-maximisation objectives.
CROSSMARE’s participation at ESIF 2026 therefore combined project presentation, stakeholder engagement, knowledge exchange and networking, reinforcing connections with relevant actors in the European security and cybersecurity community.
